Sailor Limited Edition Endanagered Species, Endangered Birds Roseatte Spoonbill

This is the last design of Sailor Endangered Spices, Endangered Birds, 2010 Limited Edition. The first two designs were the Blakiston's Fish Owl and Japanese Flycatcher.

Just like the other two endangered birds, the exploring growth of human activities had causes the Roseate Spoonbill bird population to declare at an alarming rate.

Master artisan Nishihara-san uses his skillful captured this beautiful pink bird using kaga maki-e technique on a classic Sailor 1911.

A small piece of radan was use to create the eye, giving it a sparkly and colourful effect.

On the pen barrel, a adult Roseate Spoonbill proudly standing in a Mangrove showing off her beautiful pink feather and long leg.
On the cap, a pair of spoonbill illusrated using  .... technique, spread their wing, and fly toward the morning sun, creating a pleasing scenery ...
... encourageing us to let our hair down,  destress and enjoy the moment of peace. Time suddently stopped.
The Sailor Endangered Species Limited Edition is limited to 88 pieces worldwide.

This is the last design of the three. The other two design are Japanese Paradise Flycatcher and Blakiston's Fish Owl .

All three designs are currently available locally.
