DaniTrio Bamboo Story

I found another taki-nuri maki-e fountain pen to add to my Bamboo collection. The DaniTrio Bamboo maki-e fountain pen is much more interesting as compare to those Sailor Japan Co.

It comes in four colors. The Danitrio take nuri show is Hotei-dake  (H-007GW) and Mon-dake (H-008G).

The reason why I feel it is more interesting is Master maki-e artisan Masanori Omote painted bamboo leaves on the take-nuri fountain pen

In order to give the leave an additional dimension, Masanori-san using taka maki-e.

He also using the same maki-e technique to paint lady bug on it.

The pen top and bottom is finished with the beautiful raden. It is very beautiful as the color changes with the light.

Unlike Sailor Take-nuri, Danitrio uses their bigger pen, Genkai size, for their bamboo collection. This give the master artisan masanori-san the necessary space for his creative.

The Danitrio bamboo story take-nuri comes in different nib sizes, including stub. It is currently available locally at Fook Hing Trading.
