Pelikan Souverän Black-Blue-Silver

After the tremendous success of the Souverän silver trim in M405 and M805, Pelikan recently launched 3 models using the popular size 605 as a special edition. This is the second model of the three pens. The first was the Pelikan Souverän M600 Tortoise Shell-White.

Montegrappa Memoria

Montegrappa launched a model called Memoria, an Italian word which mean memory. We think it is an excellent name for a writing instrument as it bring up the important of a written word.

Rumours, Rumours Pilot/Namiki Revised Price Up

Pilot/Namiki Singapore revised almost all their products price up, include inks, leather products, as well Namiki pens. Some of the price revised up as much as 30%+, example the Ink.

Rumours, Rumours Lamy Revised Price

Beside Pilot/Namiki, Lamy Singapore is the next brand who has revised their price. If you visit most of the big counters in Singapore, you will noticed their pricse have went UP.

The good news are some local retailers like Aesthetic Bay and Fook Hing Trading has existing stock which is still going at pre-adjusted price.

If you are planning to buy a Lamy, we suggest you head one down to the shops quickly before it is sold out. You will be surprise on your saving get.

Pilot New Iroshizuku Ink 2012

Pilot released four new colors this year. They are kosomosu (pink), murasaki-shikibu (purple), ina-ho (golden brown) and chikurin (bamboo green).

It is currently available locally in Singapore. According to the local retailers, the Kosomosu and the Murasaki are two most popular colors of the four, with Chiku-Rin the least favour.

We are not a fun of green (chiku-rin), but we find the new Pilot bamboo green is pretty pleasing, and trigger us to look into our shade of green in the Iroshizuku ink.

The rice brown (ina-ho) color has a light shade of gold. It is nice.

If you are a big fan of the Pilot Iroshizuku, you might want to quickly stock up your supply.

We heard rumours that the "West" was complaining how we have enjoyed "reasonally" priced Pilot Iroshizuku ink, and Pilot Singapore addressed the complain by adjusting the price upward.

Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black

While this is not the first time Sailor Japan launched a matt black finishing fountain pens, Imperial Black is their first truely all black fountain pen. Like the Parker Premium All Black Special Edition,  you can only see tone of black on this pen.
