Sahara Desert ... Really Hot

Sahara is the world largest desert and is located in the Africa continent. The desert is about 1200 miles by 3000 miles. It stretches across 11 countries; Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Librya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Morocco, Western Sahara, Sudan and Tunisia.

Mannbou ... Sunfish

This is the 6/10 pen of the Sailor Creatures of the Deep fountain pens collection. Previously, we wrote about clown fish, Hammerhead Shark, Whales, Octopus and Pengiun.

Roma Aeterna Limited Edition

Most of the pen that we encountered in the past using are inspire by one thing or a theme. Event ... Nib Master Yukio Nagahara is in town

Mr. Tan from Aesthetic Bay had invited Sailor nib Master Yukio Nagahara to Singapore. The nib Master will be meeting pen fan from 11am to 7pm on 20 - 23 Jan 2010.

Aesthetic Bay had specially commissioned Sailor to created REALO Limited Edition maki-e fountain pens in 4 different designs to commemorating this event. The designs are Sakura, Plum, Chrysanthemum and Camellia. Each piece is individually nnumbered and each design is limited to 28 pieces.

Aesthetic Bay will be hosting a thankgiving evening to thank their customers and Sailor team on Jan 22, 2010. Drinks, wines and food will be served. However, Aesthetic Bay encourage you to register with them to help them to do better plan.

Give the men a Tiger ...

The Year of 2010 is the Year of the Tiger. The Tiger is the third sign in the Chinese Zodiac cycle. This year is double happiness for the businessman. The first day of the Chinese New Year coincidentally fall on February 14, 2010.

With China booming, Parker taking the opportunity to release a Zodiac Series last Christmas to welcome the lunar year.

Today, we received our piece but was disappointment with the artwork.

Let us do the twist

Since we have both the Lamy Dialog 3 and Pilot Capless Fermo, we throught it will be a good idea to do comparsion between the two.

While Lamy Dialog 3 might be the company first foray into the capless market, they engaged a well known designer to lead the effort.  The details of the designer in a printed on a paper togather with instruction booklet. As for the Pilot, no details of the designer(s) is available, but it is well know that Pilot had been manufacturing Capless since 1964.

Greatest Opera ... The Barber Of Seville

This greatest operatic masterpieces,  Il barbiere di Siviglia , was written by Cesare Sterbini and Rossini. Cesare wrote the libretto for in just 11 days, from 18 to 29 January 1816 and within 20 days Rossini had completed the opera.

We feel he was incredible to be able to create one of the greatest operatic masterpieces ever in such a short space of time.

The conversation continue ... Lamy Dialog 3

While our Western friends got to enjoy the conversation with Dialog 3 Q3 last year, we only managed to get hold of the Dialog 3 just before Christmas. Just in time to buy ourself a good Christmas present.
