What happen when two top brands come togather to produce a product?
The reason is one fine product that asked for double the price when they each produce their product individually.
The collabation between Japan company Namiki and Britain Alfred Dunhill dates back to the late 1920, during the "art deco" period.

Sheaffer Nostalgia Sterling Silver Ink Blotter
Ink blotter is one victim of modern technology. It totally disappeared from our writing desk. This Sheaffer Nostalgia sterling silver blotter (model 8111) was made in England back in the mid '80.
The production stopped in early '90, about 1992.
The nostalgia design was introduce in the '70 for a fountain pen. The success of the Nostalgia fountain pen pushing Sheaffer to make manufacture match desk accessories using the same design - blotter, letter opener, and ink-well.
The size of these blotter is about 2 1/2''H., 4 3/8''L, 2''W.The production stopped in early '90, about 1992.

Montegrappa ICONS Dragon 2010 Bruce Lee Limited Edition
November 27 2010 was Bruce Lee 70th birthday. Montegrappa remake the 1995 Dragon Limited Edition in red celluloid with different clip and cap top to honours Bruce Lee, an American born chinese who remains globally popular 37 years after his death.
Bruce Lee was not a only a Kung Fu Master and actor. He also promote Chinese culture indirectly.
Lee almost single-handedly sparked a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s.
There was a event last month (January) to pay tribute to this martial art ICON of the East at the Marina Bay Sandsm Singapore. It is the offical local launch of the Monetegrappa Second pen in ICON series.
This pen is a remake of the 1995 Montegrappa Dragon Limited Edition wth a different.
What are the differences?

Namiki Oriental Zodiac Rabbit
In less 12 hours, we will be welcoming the Year of the Rabbit. We wishes all Chinese across the world a Happy Chinese New Year.
Hayashi-san uses the togidashi maki-e technique to craft the 4th oriental zodiac animal, rabbit. On the barrel, master artisan Hayahi-san painted 2 white rabbits riding on golden cloud.
This maki-e pen come complete with a 18K nib, and present in the Standard Namiki wooden box.
